To Our Valued Patients,
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
If you are wondering whether it is safe to return to the dental office, we want to reassure you that our cleanliness and sanitation have always exceeded the required standards to prevent the spread of any illness. The additional measures we are putting in place will further improve patient and staff safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are always current to keep patients and staff safe, comfortable, and happy.
There will be changes when you come in for your next appointment. We made these changes to protect our patients, team members, and community. Please review the following:
Pre-Visit Health Check & On-Arrival: Our office will get in touch with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you arrive at our office.
Temperature Check: We’ll take your temperature with a contactless thermometer upon arrival. If you feel feverish, we’ll ask that you reschedule your appointment.
Face Coverings & Social Distancing Maintained: We’ll require that you wear a mask or face covering while in the common areas of the office - those when you enter and leave. We will also require everyone to maintain six feet of separation as they move through the office.
Hand Sanitization: We have hand sanitizers that we will ask you to use when you enter the office.
Reception Area Changes:
We have removed magazines and toys from the office for your safety.
We have reduced the number of chairs in the reception area and have strategically spaced them six feet apart for your protection.
The reception area will be closed to non-patient members. Additional person(s) are not allowed in the waiting area and are required to stay outside for the scheduled patient. Exceptions are given for caregivers and anyone under the age of 18.
Staggered Appointment Times: Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
Zero Waiting: We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
Enhanced PPE: Our clinical team will be wearing gloves, masks, gowns, and for enhanced protection, face shields.
H13 Medical Grade HEPA Air Purifiers: You will see many of these air purifiers throughout the office. They provide medical grade air filtration that will clean, purify, and filter to the size of viruses, including COVID-19.
As of June 1st, 2020, our office will reopen to accommodate all of your dental needs. This includes your cleanings, exams, routine dental care, and emergencies.
We look forward to seeing you again! If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please call our office at (626)282-4195 or online at https://www.arlenvartaniandds.com/Contact-Us-Schedule-Appointment
